December 2017 Dusty Attic DT project

Seeing as it is Summer here in the Southern hemisphere...I opted to create some bright and cheerful cards for this month at Dusty Attic. I created some FUN backgrounds using Lindy's Stampgang Magicals, plainly wet my papers and flicked some Magicals onto the paper. I also used Magical coloured Texture Paste through different Dusty Attic stencils...Got some awesome, Yummy effects that I am really loving!!!

The chipboard frames were all gesso'd and painted with the magicals as well. Having bought myself a Christmas gift - the Go Press and Foil - resulted in playing with Dusty Chippies!!! And it works like a dream on the chippies. The Wildflowers and Butterflies were foiled. Add some Prima flowers, sequence from Dress my Craft and sentiments designed by Marta Lapkowska and my Summer cards are done....

The left-side card has the following Macigals; Frenchy's Pink Pouf,  Kissin Kenickie Coral, Tilt-a-Wheel Teal. The frames are coloured with Orange Creamsicle. I used the Bedazzled Stencil.

Right Side...Merry-go-Round Green, Prima Donna Purple, Rasberry Lemonade. Tilt -a Wheel Teal on the frames. Webbing nr2 Stencil.

Left-side background; Bling-y-Blonde, Sassy Sapphire, Summer Lovin Sun. Raspberry Lemonade on the chipboard. Used the Lace Stencil.

Right-side {My favourite} Hi Maintenance Magenta, Orange Creamsicle, Pink Ladies Pink. Merry-go-Green on the chipboard.

For the pastes I used the following Magicals...
Rasberry Lemonade
Summer Lovin Fun

Below I added a collage of the backgrounds...Because they were so deliciously Yummy...before I covered them with elements.

The following products and more can be found in the Dusty Attic On-line store....

Then followed that beautiful season...
Filled was the air
with a dreamy and magical light;
and the landscape
Lay as if new created
 in all the freshness
 of childhood.

November 2017 Dusty Attic DT page

Hello again Blogger friends.
Today I share my page created for November at Dusty Attic. I used the ever so beautiful paper range from Prima - Zella Teal. I fussy cut the flowers from two of the paper sheets and layered them with several of the Dusty Attic chipboard pieces.

I absolutely love the newly released Iron Garnish designs ... Here I have used Iron Garnish #2. After a coating of Gesso I painted them with Finnabair Metallique Light Patina Paint. I also painted a little Shabby Turbine Teal from Lindy's Stampgang onto them. I heatset it all with my heatgun, fairly close in order to get some bubbles and texture. Finally rubbed Bronze Age Metallique Wax onto the tips.

To match the green of Michelle's dress I coloured some designs from the Spider Chrysanthemum set with Time Travel Teal Macigals and Bells of Ireland Green Linsy's Spray. I cut it into smaller pieces and tucked them between the paper flowers. Tucked between as well are a few pieces of the Black painted Small Lattice. A few Mini Butterflies embossed with Aged Black Embossing Enamel from Stampendous are to be spotted as well.

With the next three photos I tried to show the layers on the side of the page.

The following chipboard pieces are available here in the Dusty Attic shop...

~~You Make my Soul sing~~

Hello again....
On Saturday I made a card seeing as it was National Card day...I used colours that are not usually in my go-to colour palette...Yellow and Purple..I am loving the fresh and rather clean look and feeling that I achieved. To achieve the Heart-shaped cage, I Die-cut 7 Hearts, folded them in half and glued them together. I also used several flowers from Petaloo's Botanical Garden range. The gorgeous Purple Butterfly was a gift from Marta Lapkowska...

On white cardstock I started with Frenchy's Pink Pouf Flat Magical's from Lindy's Stampgang. I also used French Lilac Violet Starburst and Bonjour Butter Flat Fabio Sprays. I stamped and stencilled on the background with Chrome Yellow and Majestic Violet Archival Inks. On the Heart I Rubbed some Opal Magic Wax Royal Robes and Royal Aubergine Nuvo Mousse.

Below are several close-ups to show the effect of the cage...
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog...

The opening of a catkin of a willow,
in the flight of the butterfly,
in the chirping of a tree-toad
or the sweep of an eagle,
my life loves to see how others live,
 exults in their joy,
and so far is partner
in their great concern.

~Snapshot Moments~
October 2017 Dusty Attic DT Project

How are you all doing Blog Friends....Hope to find you well and creating away?
For my Dusty Attic Blog Project this month I once again used some Selfie photos of myself!!! I know...we do not scrap ourselves often enough and am trying to get over my low self image and just Scrap away, easy enough to do with these amazing Dusty chippies...The paper I used are old, very old, stash...They are Spring Garden #2 from Craft and You Design. The flowers are from Little Birdie.

I used the following frames, Ornate Frame #5 and Decorative Frame #1. Sadly the photos don't do justice to the effect the Lindy's Spray has on the frames! After some gesso I first painted them with Frenchy's Pink Pouf and Pink Ladies Pink  Flat Magicals.  Once dry I painted with Cocklebells Coral Starburst Spray.

Adding a few hearts from the Heart Attack Border #2 in the frame gives an interesting effect.

How cute is the round black Word Tag that fits snugly in the smallest frame? I also used some Mini Word Tabs, and Small Latice pieces that I painted with black Gesso as fillers between my layers and flowers.

I also used the Leaves #3 stencil with glue and Mega Flakes from Indigo Blu ... just love the shiny details it added to the page!

Please make sure to visit the Dusty Attic on-line shop for these and much more...
